About 910 West

Founded in 2007, 910 West works with small business owners to build their revenues through quality graphic design, website services, and marketing solutions. My husband and I started 910 West in response to a need I discovered while working with a good friend to market her salon. She had just acquired the business and needed help bringing in more clientele. At the time, I was working full-time as a computer technician but would mention my "side job" to friends and family. I was surprised by the number of them who had a business they wanted to market or knew someone who did. I realized that nearly all small businesses need marketing help.

Since my initial revelation, I have worked with my husband to create a small business based on meeting the marketing needs of other small businesses. Our mission is to increase your business through effective marketing solutions including print, web, and identity design. We make your business look good while helping to make it successful.

Meet the staff

Jasmine Holmes | Graphic Designer

Though 910 West is my first attempt at entrepreneurship, I am at not new to the challenges of small business ownership. For over ten years, my parents ran a small, survey business out of our house. I have first hand experience with the difficulties (and rewards) of being self-employed. One of the biggest road blocks to success is a lack of effective marketing. I founded 910 West to meet that need.

Before striking out on my own, I worked for Texas Instruments, Tucson as a part of their in-house marketing team and Apple Computer as a computer technician. At Texas Instruments, I created all forms of marketing material including: ads, direct mail pieces, press release graphics, and publications. Before Texas Instrument, I worked as a webmaster at a small design company. Even after leaving, I continued doing freelance website design in my spare time. Many of those clients have become the core of my client roster at 910 West.

When I am not working with our clients, I write a blog dedicated to beautiful and functional office supplies. Blank Pages reflects my obsession with form and function and my love for writing. I also use my creative talents to design personalized stationery.

Michael Hayslip | Technical consultant

When I am not at my “day job,” I am helping my wife build websites for 910 West. My job, as technical consultant, is to find solutions to our client’s technology challenges. These include web applications, contact management, blogging, analytics—pretty much anything related to website development.

You are probably asking what is my day job? I work as a computer operations manager for a manufacturing company based in Chandler, AZ. Prior to my management career, I spent eleven years as a systems administrator at Texas Instruments, Tucson. With over thirteen years of technology expertise, I have a wide range of computer knowledge—everything from basic hardware and software to networking, backup and recovery, storage solutions, web development, and programming languages.

I am not afraid of learning new technologies—my goal is to stay as current as possible in a constantly changing field. In my spare time, I write a technology blog, It Does Compute and take photographs.
